Alex Runions developed a love for country music growing up in the town of Kipling, Saskatchewan. Alex has been singing since childhood and has always dreamed of being a performer. His country roots and songwriting skills give his music a unique sound -- an energetic blend of country, pop, and rock music that can entertain almost any audience. Alex recently recorded a three-song EP with award-winning producer Bart McKay of Saskatoon, and the material has generated great feedback. Around the time of the recording, Alex was given the opportunity to warm up crowds for Brad Johner, Saskatchewan’s biggest country star. The time spent with Brad and his crew taught Alex a lot about what it takes to be a professional musician.
